Snow - Yellow Warning 5/1/26
A yellow weather warning is in place today 5/1/26
Tubbercurry is currently accessible by road. However, Gardai have asked that travel to and from Tubbercurry is only undertaken if absolutely necessary.
The practice is open this morning; but with reduced staffing levels as staff face the same challenges as patients when trying to enter/exit or travel to Tubbercurry.
It is our intention to stay open as long as;
It is safe for patients and staff to travel to and from the practice.
The weather warning is not upgraded.
A decision will be made on an hour by hour basis to keep the practice open.
It may be necessary to close the practice in order for staff to travel home safely before the roads become too treacherous.
If the practice is closed, the emergency phone will be turned on for urgent patient queries.
